Unprecedented Protection for CFM56-7 Bleed Air Valves

An FAA certified upgrade package for CFM56-7 engines is now available to protect 5th and 9th stage bleed air valves and components from contamination induced failures and wear.

By simply installing these in place of existing bleed air lines, operators can protect the High Stage Valve and Regulator as well as the Precooler Control Valve/Bleed Air Regulator from environmental and system induced contamination. By using advanced sintered filtration media, optimal protection is provided balancing long filter life with much needed protection.

Bleed air valve failures and fault isolation can be a source of costly turn-back events for operators in addition to valve overhaul and replacement costs. By reducing the contamination reaching sensitive valve components, lower operating costs can be achieved.
