SUPRA Filtration For Cannabis Oil Filtration

SUPRA Cannabis System E Series are simple, plug and play skids designed to revolutionize depth filtration applications in the cannabis industry. The systems are designed incorporating Pall’s unique SUPRApak™ and SUPRADisc™ M filter modules and cartridge filters providing a cost-effective alternative to classical sheet filtration and decolorization.
SUPRA Cannabis System E Series filtration units provide a closed system approach to high capacity depth filtration, maximizing product protection and minimizing product losses. Lower cost of ownership is achieved due to higher throughput, yield improvement, and reduced handling, cleaning, maintenance and downtime costs, when compared to sheet filtration.
SUPRA Cannabis System E Series technology is ideal for use in cannabis applications for wax and color removal for flow rates (or volumes) between X and Y. All components and critical measurement devices are assembled on a mobile, easy to install and operate skid (or something like that).
The E series units are set up to include 3 stages of filtration. For clarification and wax removal , SUPRA Cannabis System E Series units hold 1 or 2 SUPRApak M modules, each representing up to approximately 2.7 m2 (29.1 ft2) of filtration area or 1 or 2 SUPRAdisc II 12 inch modules, representing up to 1.8 m2 of area enabling compact and low hold-up volume system design. After the clarification step, SUPRAdisc AKS Modules are positioned for color removal. The third and final step is a guard filtration step using cartridge filters.

1 Maximum design pressure and temperature ratings are vessel ratings only. Safe operation will also depend on filter module and housing gasket use. Silicone assembly seals restrict continuous operating temperature to -40 to 130 ºC (266 ºF). For details on module temperature limitations, please refer to SUPRApak module literature and Pall code 7 ca.
2 Design satisfies EC Pressure Equipment Directive (PED Assessment) (Fluid Group 2, Category III, Module H). Pressure rating is suitable for non-hazardous liquids or gases. The PED category and fluid group classification indicates suitability of housing use on distilled spirits less than 70% by weight absolute alcohol. For such applications, the maximum allowable temperature must be below the flash point. For 70% by weight absolute alcohol the flashpoint is 21 °C (69.8 °F).
