Seitz K 700 is a coarse clarification sheet for early-stage load removal. The open, uniform matrix favors high permeability and depth capture, so larger particles and haze formers are retained throughout the media while flow remains stable. K 700 is typically placed at the head of a stack to shield finer sheets and reduce changeouts. Common uses include primary juice clarification, cleanup of extracts and syrups, and guard duty ahead of polishing or final filtration. Manufactured for consistent permeability and media homogeneity, K 700 delivers predictable pressure rise across long cycles. Sheets may be hot-water or steam-sanitized within published limits and should be rinsed before production to set clean start-up conditions. The 400 x 400 size fits compact presses for pilot and small-batch work.
