Description

Ease of Use

Marksman filters come with a user-friendly design resulting in faster filter change-outs, simple maintenance, and reduced system downtime. The filters eliminate the need for compression plates, springs, and tube guides.

Marksman filters can be easily retrofitted into existing Size 1 and Size 2 bag housings and offer quick and easy change-outs. A single Size 2 Marksman series filter replaces up to 16 standard 10 inches (25.4 cm) filters. 

 

Adaptability

Marksman filters are designed to be used in normal process conditions and critical batches, unlike bag filters intended for short periods of usage during upset conditions and less critical production runs. These filters can serve as a complementary technology to existing bag filters.

 

Lower Operating Costs

High surface area and long service life lead to fewer cartridge change-outs and reduced disposal cost. One Marksman filter's life and filtration performance are equivalent to 10 standard 10 inches (25.4 cm) filters that offer additional savings.

 

Marksman filters are available in the following configurations –

 

  • Marksman™ PFT Filters 

The filter comes with an all-polypropylene construction and Poly-Fine® II proprietary filter media. The filters are compatible with a wide range of chemicals and offer highly consistent filtration.

  • Marksman™  XLD Filters

The filters come with a Poly-Fine® Extended Life Depth (XLD) proprietary media for the innovative merger of depth and pleated technologies. They are perfect for applications that demand extended filter life and excellent retention of deformable contaminants.

  • Marksman™ DFN Filters

Constructed from Micro-fiberglass Duo-Fine® media, Marksman DFN filters offer broad chemical compatibility and are available to fit most Size 1 and Size 2 bag vessels with no hardware changes.

  • Marksman™ Vector Filters

Ideal for coarse, large-volume particle filtration in high-flow applications, the filter uses Pall’s proprietary “Ultipleat®” or “Laid-Over-Pleat” technology with felt media for extended on-stream service life. 

  • Marksman™ PFT High Flow Filters

These filters fit into standard High Flow filter housings and offer all the benefits of Marksman PFT filters.

  • Marksman™ XLD High Flow Filters

Offering all the benefits of Marksman XLD filters, these can fit into standard High Flow filter housings.

  • Marksman™ NXA Filters

The filter uses CoLD Melt™ technology of Pall Nexis® series filters and consists of unique Co-located Large Diameter fiber construction for enhanced productivity and output quality.
