Description

The PhaseSep liquid/liquid separation equipment is available in several types of high efficiency coalescing medium. These emulsion separators are compatible with virtually all liquids and can efficiently manage liquid/liquid separation.

The coalescers offer cost-effective filtration with enhanced efficiency and reduced processing time than conventional coalescers, settlers, and centrifuges.

Pall offers the following variants under PhaseSep coalescers.

  • PhaseSep® Coalescer

Pall’s PhaseSep coalescer comes with a unique stack design and is available in several different materials to ensure compatibility with virtually any liquid/liquid mixture. Pall’s specifically formulated medium doesn’t disarm in the presence of surfactants and guarantees the longest possible service life.

  • PhaseSep® EL Series Liquid/Liquid Coalescer

PhaseSep EL Series liquid/liquid coalescer’s coarse format offers enhanced separation efficiency while working with aggressive and high-temperature streams in the oil and gas, refinery, and chemical and petrochemical industries. Ideal for applications involving high solids and difficult oil/water emulsions, the coalescers are directly retrofittable with the standard PhaseSep coalescer. The filters use a new medium specifically selected to yield the desired performance in target applications. The PhaseSep EL coalescers are available in two different housing configurations that begin with a filtration stage for solid contaminant removal.

  • PhaseSep® Y Series Liquid/Liquid Coalescer

The high-efficiency separation cartridge of PhaseSep Y Series liquid/liquid coalescer is built entirely from FDA listed polyolefin material. It makes it ideal for a wide range of filtration applications in biotechnology, flavor and fragrance, and chemical industries with diverse pH and temperature ranges. The coalescer media comprises three-layered tapered pore construction for efficient separation of liquids with low interfacial tension. Its high void volume medium provides enhanced protection to the downstream equipment resulting in longer service life.

Why choose Pall PhaseSep Coalescers?

  • Efficient separation of liquids with low interfacial tension
  • Longer service life
  • Cost-effective filtration of virtually any emulsion

Product Highlights:

  • Better efficiency
